The Alliance for Retired Americans announced that Rep. Chrissy Houlahan has earned a lifetime achievement score of 100 percent, indicating a strong voting record on issues pertaining to Pennsylvania’s retirees and senior citizens.

The Alliance for Retired Americans is a nonpartisan organization of retired trade union members affiliated with the AFL-CIO, as well as non-union, community-based members with more than 4.4 million members nationwide.

“Our seniors in PA have been devastatingly impacted by this pandemic,” said Houlahan. “It’s why I’ve fought tooth and nail in Congress on their behalf, ensuring they get the care and resources they need, not just during Covid-19, but always. I appreciate this recognition and share the honor with the senior community in my district, whom I will continue to stand by and for in the halls of Congress.”

“Pennsylvania retirees can feel confident that Rep. Houlahan is looking out for their interests in Washington,” said Richard Fiesta, executive director of the Alliance for Retired Americans.

“She has earned a 100 percent lifetime pro-retiree record in our annual Congressional Voting Record with her votes to fund coronavirus treatments and vaccines, protect older workers from discrimination, strengthen Social Security and Medicare and improve health and safety in nursing homes. Our members look forward to working with her to ensure all Pennsylvanians have the secure retirement they deserve.”
