West End to Hold Carnival on Fire Co. Grounds

The West End Fire Company will hold its First Annual carnival at the firehouse grounds at 112 Rice St. from Sept. 2 through Sept. 5.

It will feature an assortment of rides, including the Starship 3000, the Super Slide, Castle Mania and the Dragon Wagon along with the spinning tea cups and the Sizzler.

There will also be a dunk tank, water games and basketball.

Food includes walking tacos, hot dogs, hamburgers, pierogis, homemade French fries, cotton candy and more.

The hours are from 6 to 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and from 4 to 1 p.m. on Saturday.

All proceeds benefit the volunteer West End Fire Company.
