It dealt with three major initiatives; the Better Landlord program, the proposal to convert the old Fecera's warehouse on Beech Street into housing for artists as well as a surprise change of heart concerning proposed changes to the rental housing ordinance.
All three garnered an uncharacteristic level of discussion from this council as well as some surprises.
Its actually covered pretty well in the Tweets (everything was working) so I won't belabor it here.

Mr Brandt, Thank you for the tweets on the meeting. They are very informative. I think there should be some clarification before the residents of Pottstown get the wrong idea from Mr. Place's comments. He mentioned 5600 rental units and 2500 not licensed. This does not mean these units were not inspected. It means that the owner either did not provide a tenant name or the owner did not submit the yearly form updating the occupants of the unit. I feel many will feel that 1/2 of the rental units in Pottstown are not inspected and this is not true. The majority of units are inspected between tenants and most landlords follow these proper procedures. Clearly the yearly updated form has a compliance issue. Please clarify this in future articles.
