Ciresi Hosting Drive-Thru Veterans' Lunch Monday

State Rep. Joe Ciresi will host a no-contact, drive-through veterans lunch on Monday afternoon at his district office in Royersford.

The event will run from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 7, behind Ciresi’s district office located at 301 North Lewis Road, the Park Towne Plaza Shopping Center.

RSVPs are required, and attendees are asked to enter the rear office parking lot off Oak Street.

It is open to all veterans and veterans’ families who live within the 146th Legislative District.

“I wanted to find a creative but appropriate way to celebrate and honor the many veterans in our community, while we continue to adhere to COVID-19 mitigation efforts during this latest coronavirus surge,” Ciresi said. “This drive-through lunch gives us an opportunity to thank the military servicemen and servicewomen – and their families – with a small token of our deepest appreciation.”

In addition to receiving a bagged lunch, various veterans’ resources will be provided at the two-hour, rain-or-shine event.
