The annual “Pottsgrove Manor by Candlelight” celebration will be held on Sunday, Dec. 15, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Explore the candlelit museum as living history interpreters celebrate the traditions of Twelfth Night.
Delight at entertaining in the Front Parlor and spy to see if any couple is caught standing under the kissing ball.
Discover the progression of Georgian dishes and elegant desserts laid out in the dining parlor throughout the day, all made by the hearth cooks in the reproduction kitchen.
Continue your tour upstairs to see how to dress in the latest colonial styles in the master bedchamber.
Find out how the festivities were seen through children’s eyes and their different experiences in the children’s bedchamber.
Uncover the extensive behind-the-scenes work done by the household staff as they prepare decorations of greenery for the house.
Discover forgotten holiday traditions such as days spent hunting and the celebration of Boxing Day.
Kids of all ages can bring home a memory of the evening with make and take crafts. Colonial refreshments will be served after your tour.
The museum shop will be open with special reproduction items, books, and ornaments.

Visitors should follow the signs for parking at the Pottstown Memorial Park, located at 75 West King Street. There they can board a shuttle that will take them to Pottsgrove Manor.

The program welcomes all ages, and there is a suggested $2 donation per person. All are encouraged to dress for the weather as part of the
tour does include being outdoors.
Pottsgrove Manor by Candlelight will be held weather permitting.
