ArtFusion 19464 is excited to announce a new series of free programs just for teens.

Sponsored by the Greater Pottstown Foundation, Teen Mixed Media is a series of four-week programs, each of which concentrates on a specific topic or medium.

Teens can choose to explore recycled art, painting, jewelry, figure drawing, glass, fiber and pottery.

Students can choose the topics that challenge their creativity, or mediums they would really like to try.

They can apply to attend as many of the sessions as they like.

The sessions are scheduled throughout 2019 and each program has its own application deadline.

Applications can be downloaded from the artfusion19464.org, or picked up in person at their 341 Beech St. facility. Spaces will be filled on a first come, first served basis.

While ArtFusion 19464 encourages everyone who is interested to apply, those students who qualify for free or reduced lunch and those who have not attended a free program at ArtFusion 19464 before will be given priority.

Because space is extremely limited in each program, they recommend applying early.

ArtFusion 19464 is a 501(c)3 non-profit community art center located at the Beech St. Factory in downtown Pottstown.

The school offers day, evening and weekend art classes to all ages. The goal of these classes is to help students develop their creative skills and independence through self-expression. ArtFusion 19464 also hosts rotating art shows featuring local artists.
