Registration deadline is Saturday!
Blogger's Note: An announcement from Montgomery County:

A new "Fun with Fishing" for kids program will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Lower Perkiomen Valley Park on Saturday, April 21.

Young guests can learn the basics of fishing from Montgomery County Park Rangers at this fun morning event.

Information will include the use of bobbers, types of bait, safe use of fishing hooks, variety and use of fishing poles, and more.

Ages 6 to 15 are invited to this family friendly event.

Kids must be accompanied by an adult. Visitors should bring their own equipment and come dressed to be “down by the Creek.”

There is a $2 per person suggested donation. This event is weather permitting as all of the activities will be held out-of-doors.

Pre-registration is required at 610-666-5371 by April 14th.

All Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Regulations apply. Participants should meet at the Park’s Main Pavilion.

Lower Perkiomen Valley Park is located on New Mill Road, off Egypt Road in Oaks, PA, near the Rt. 422 Oaks exit.
