If you were taking a cat nap around 7 p.m. last night, you would have missed the borough council meeting.
But don't worry yourself, we've got you. The staff at the Digital Notebook is here for you.
Matt Ryan, left, takes the oath of office as administered by
Council President Dan Weand, right, and overseen by
Fire Police Captain Jim Smale.

Although maybe not so much for Matt Ryan. He was sworn in last night as Pottstown's newest fire police officer.
Congratulations Mr. Ryan and thanks for your willingness to serve.
As for news, there was some.
Paula and Robert Bickelman got what they wanted, a vote to waive the conditional use hearing that may have been triggered by a very small variation from the requirements to convert a former warehouse at the the corner of Walnut and North York streets into apartments.
The Bickelmans, who offered a brief run-down of the other renovation work they've done in the borough at the work session last Wednesday, will still need to get a zoning variance before they can begin work.
Council also approved a wide array of ordinance changes designed to make it easier to do everything from having a pool in your backyard to doing your own plumbing work at your own risk.
Council also approved its usual auditing firm of Maille LLP to conduct its audit and to sign on to a $200,000 grant request from the Colebrookdale Railroad seeking money to improve the King Street crossing between the railroad's new station in Memorial Park and Pottsgrove Manor
The council members also agreed to move ahead with having the planning commission and Historic Architecture Review Board meet on the same night and share two members, Andrew Monastra and newly appointed Tom Hylton, to smooth things for applicants.
Also, the road closures for the Red Horse Motoring Club's car shows this coming summer were also approved.
And with that, here are the Tweets, what few there are, from last night's meeting.
