One of my RTK requests were fulfilled by OIC Rhoder providing the end-of-year call report to the BOC from the chiefs from 2012-2020. That's an over 11% increase in calls made to police and a 10% increase in the need for backup. Arrests are down, yes, but the question remains, are they down because crime is less, or are they down because the department is limited by its management?<br />With only one officer on the street, what will happen to these numbers? while 2020's numbers are down because of COVID (maybe the only blessing from that experience, we can't rely on those numbers at all. and Yes, of course, the Police Department is the largest portion of the budget in the township.
